25 games played with an average of just under 20 disposals per game, plus an incredible 7 tackles per game.

Sure, he has things to work on, but clearly he had his best season by some margin.

He’s fine. His bad games will smoothen out as experience sets in.

As he gets a bit fitter he will improve too - he usually only plays about 70-75% TOG which should creep up next year and beyond.

With another pre-season and the experience gained this year from an impressive break out season under his belt, it should be onwards and upwards for Ned. He probably won’t ever become a star, but he may well become our version of a Tom Atkins
