Ned did some very good things and some poor ones like most players in that game. His floater off half back wins the award for the best up country mongrel punt of the decade. It was so bad it was good. It bamboozled everyone. I call him Conan.

I hope all these posters relentlessly bagging Ned aren't the same ones wanting a rebuild & calling for us to play younger players who aren't ready every week.
I can't stand it when supporters pounce on the stuff ups but ignore the great moments. His pass to Lippa in the square was a thing of beauty and a moment when I actually thought " we've got these buggers!" Ned is a barbarian- a bull- and this has been to his advantage in tough, tight situations. He made some blues yesterday, but there is a good player there who just needs some refining.

Of course you’d want to see glimpses of something that makes him look like an AFL footballer, and he’s done that. It’s not every week that somebody breaks the club tackle count record.
His start of season was better than his end of season, but that’s very normal for young players.
Consistency will come later.

There's good potential for improvement and the club sees it. He fills a need.
If you don't like him as a player that's fine. That only needs to be registered once. There is no good reason to repetively pot a player. It's pointless and a bad reflection on the poster.
