I call him "The Caveman." He is all brute force and hacks it forward by foot or hand. He's like a wild stallion atm. He'll be more composed next year and beyond

CFC has played 5 top eight teams gunning for finals in the past 8 weeks and Ned has looked overwhelmed like he's has on vacation...What is going to change come finals!
Ps. I hope I'm wrong.
Rorzza would still criticise Long if he had a 40 possession game and kicked four goals. Was Good vs Dees so hopefully that builds his Confidence back up

Ned helped us secure top 4 this season. No point potting him.
The week break will be good for him.
Yes let’s place all blame on him for losing.Lol, so we won by barely beating a bottom side so every player is perfect…
Shame his shit play v top 8 sides costs us a home final and locking in top 4 a month ago…

But it’s all good cos he kicked 1 goal and hit 1 target for the night against a bottom side.
Moore was okay, Jamie was pretty good sans his 2 misses. How'd McStay, Moore , Elliott, Mihocek, Houston all go ? We just picking our bottom 6 of 22 and expecting them to be 900k calibre players? Or holding everyone to realistic expectations
No current season stats available
Watched it again and he was directly responsible for two of our goals with handballs out of the contest, and kicked a really important one.
Problem is his composure and decision making at times is rough, but it’s hardly as bad as some make out.
His running style and gait reminds me of Alan Toovey.

Who are the 5-6?So your only defence now of Ned is we need to keep lowering the bar to the point that hitting 1 target and missing 6 is a good game…
We’re top 4 and we should expect the best of all our players, there are 5-6 players playing VFL tomorrow who could actually hit a target, including a Brownlow medalist who can do what Ned does but better, but he’s not the coaches pet.
Much like in 2023 when we had to drop a try hard with zero skill level, the same needs to happen with the turnover king because if he has another 100% turnover game, that’s a killer in tight finals. Plus those players have shown they can stand up when it counts, Neds so far failed in every game v top 8 teams in the second half of the season, how’s he going to go when the heat ramps up again?
Mate Mitchell is done my 9 yr old son would run away from him , it's not just the contest it's also on the outside Mitchell is getting burnt off by VFL players there's a reason we haven't offered him.a contract... Ned isn't perfect by any means but the way your carrying on is like he's a million dollar player give him time for growth he's really only getting startedSo your only defence now of Ned is we need to keep lowering the bar to the point that hitting 1 target and missing 6 is a good game…

He is there as a distributor and to do the bullocking work. I love JDG , but he will never be on the bottom of the pack like ned will be.
Mitchell has missed a mammoth amount of football. He also won the brownlow 7 seasons ago. Its hardly what gets him selected
Failed in every game , give some proof. We have had no stand outs in our losses from our other best 21, so its not a far fetched arguement to question other players peformances when you are pinning L's on a player we took from a mid season draft who has performed more consistently than most this year. Our captain under performing is a reasonable argument. Much more logical than " coaches pet, turnover king , 5-6 better disposes of footy in vfl, brownlow medalist from 2018"
Good against Melbourne. Expect he holds his spot ahead of Mitchell. His tackling is a real positive as is his ability to hold onto the ball while being tackled and still move it on. Has even provided an option up forward on a few occasions. Disposal concerns are overblown especially for a bullocking inside mid, really not an issue.
Exactly. What would a loser coach like Craig McRae know.Except most of his turnovers aren’t from pack situations, they are anytime he gets in the clear or he’s the 2nd or 3rd in the chain he coughs up under any pressure and often with no pressure at all.
Theres a very good reason a coach like Sam Mitchell dumped him quickly.
He is the best we have, because mitchell sure as hell isn’t coming into this side.Except most of his turnovers aren’t from pack situations, they are anytime he gets in the clear or he’s the 2nd or 3rd in the chain he coughs up under any pressure and often with no pressure at all.
