Midfielders (or future midfielders) from last three drafts and trading period
2001
Luke Ball, Xavier Clarke, Nick Dal Santo, Leigh Montagna.
Heath Black is only 24 and the indications over pre-season is that he's set to deliver on his obvious potential.
2002

There are other players we have picked up over the period who are capable of spending time in the midfield but will in all likelihood spend more time in another area
- Ferguson, Guerra, R Clarke, L Fisher
Luke Penny is already an established good young key defender with the likes of Matt Maguire showing good signs. Sam Fisher is a potential key forward who we don't know much about at this stage while Barry Brooks is a long term proposition in the ruck.

Ball, Dal Santo, Montagna, Clarke and Gram!
Are all fantastic mid fielders! You could probably even sa that Riewoldt is a mid fielder but Our best one I think would have to be Dal santo, he's the kind of plyer that every team would want!
He can kick on both sides, Is very accurate keeps running is always at the bottom of the pack, he is always giving handballs to the chest not to pplayers feet, he tackles well and best of all if he turns a ball over he always chases back!
I also think Montagna is a great player, We did pick him up in the late 30's so he has really came along!
ButI think it is probably our time to hve a good season, afterwe have had 4 good years of rafting/trading!
We have also picked a couple of fowards in Kosi, Riewoldt and Murray...Also another absoloute champion in Goddard!
