So in Soapland the sale of a fully operational hotel by a bank under a mortgagee's power of sale can be completed in five minutes. As opposed to the many, many months it would require in the real world.

And people in wheel chairs in Neighbours land are almost always up and about in no time. We all know that next year Toadie will be up and running a marathon.
