Allegedly he wants to come to a Victorian club :cool: Hope thats true. There for 1/2 the list gone.

I was kind of bummed when I heard that. But as TrueTiger just mentioned, the big man wants to come to Melbourne (the CITY- cit·y   [sit-ee]
noun, plural cit·ies. 1. a large or important town...) so let's just scribble out Wet Toast and Brislame.

After all this excitement I'll be mighty pissed off if we don't get him.
 
It'd be a let down but don't forget how good a job Matt Hornsby is doing and how he got us the Athlete's Performance partnership. The only way I'd be truly disappointed is if he went to MelbTank. I can't put my finger on it but just so much irks me about that club and I hate losing to them whether it's on or off the field. Re-employing a dud like Brian Royal just shows how backwards that club is and it would be painful to see Neil Craig's services get wasted there.

The fact they cheered Richmond against their own team and sung the Tigers song got anything to do with it? Even if we were playing for a priority pick id still be cheering for us until the end and would never sing another teams song!!
 
You'd imagine he'll be waiting for the Saints coaching appointment process to be well under way. I'd be surprised if he wasn't at least a little interested in the top job there.

Looked the word up but no dice dude. But there was a mention that managers have fashioned the word, when they are high fiving with their client, after they go to the mail box.
They ring their client up and say you little ****ing beauty, we have a bucket load of ContractSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...and 10% is ****ing mine...;)
 
Ok, so this is purely rumour, but it has come out of a radio station news room - so to an extent, it's a more informed rumour.

Apparently Craig has already signed with Melbourne.

He has already signed with Richmond, Brisbane and Westcoast as well ;). Also if true Melbourne would not be able to help themselves with holding a press conference which they have not done.

Hey Guys first post so go easy on me :).


With a work function last night we had David Parkin as guest speaker and I had a chance to have a good one on one with him. During the chat I brought up if he had heard anything about Neil Craig. He mentioned that he had spoken to him yesturday and Neil has 4 offers on the table that he is considering.

Parkin also said when he asked who they were Neil told him he wont say as every bloke from Melbourne is in the Media...so who knows ?

Another point which I will share is that Parkin gave me feedback about Hardwick. His words is that Hardwick is a beauty. In Hardwicks time at Hawthorn Hardwick was considered the BEST assistant coach the Hawks have had ever...big statement but Parkin would know more then most.

Last point, Parkin also beleives were more progressed then Melbourne, North Melbourne :). Just need to continue with our drafing quality that we have shown in the last few years.

Anyway thought Ill share

Welcome Tiger71, Great first post. Thanks for the info. Hardwick has been very good for us. Its now time to get some results i think. Hopefully Neil does sign here. Would be a big win for the club.
 
He latest I heard from a Dees mate of mine is that they have thrown a huge deal at Balme and Craig is probably their second choice. Don't know if it's true but my mate is usually pretty good with Dees rumours and right about two thirds of the time.
