Spud Frawley for the trifecta
one thing to be happy about is we are being smart about this.
Brisbane, Melbourne, and allegedly Carlton (although they deny) have all given Craig an offer over ours if the media reports are correct. Looks like we have not panicked though, and are not getting into a bidding war.
Our man for our price, or bring in the next option![]()

!!! Richmond want Craig and it's a good decision, Melbourne want Craig and it's "anyone whom sounds good".
Melbourne have a new coach, and are making a few changes at the Football Department - as you would expect. If we can get good people into those positions, how is that different to what every club does?
Carry on ...
Which makes perfect sense...unless the perfect candidate was allowed to slide because somebody was being 'smart about this.'
In all seriousness though, one conversation with Neeld will be more than enough to swing Craig Mebourne's way I'd imagine, everything else aside.
Why are we targeting Craig Melbourne now?
So is Neeld going to have a talk to Neil? OR is Neeld going to kneel for Neil, because if Neeld kneels for neil then Neil will nearly be Neelds.![]()

Gotta love melbourne trying to get Craig now. And coach who's first conference was we want to be the hardest team to play in the comp. Here's a tip melbourne, get some players who can playing inside, currently the only player on your list who can handle being touched is Jack Watts and that's not even on the footy field.

Melbourne should be considering Wallace & Miller to head their recruiting dep.
Always thought that this lot always wanted to be tigers deep down.
Havent seen it posted so apologies if it has but according to this article we are after Craig in purely a Senior Assistant role unlike other teams who are after director of coaching and sports science and what not.

In the points towards the bottom of the article.
In a sign of a possible new trend in coaching, Richmond has hired Smith from Hawthorn in a new position looking at the team's defensive system.
Justin Leppitsch will remain the line coach focusing on the back line.
