Didn't realize this topic was about Melbourne and there coaching problems

Please stop talking about the cheatmons :thumbsu:

It runs in the family at the club. I was listening to the Geelong -v- West Coast call on Triple M yesterday since I was moving house and that knob Lyon couldn't stop bringing up Melbourne at any opportunity he could. Just adds to my disdain for Meltank.

I can't say how i know, so you'll just have to take my word. Neeld is a very good appointment, but i seriously question whether your club can provide him with the right level of support to get the job done. So sorry if that upsets you, but it is what it is. Keep on truckin':thumbsu:

Your opinion doesn't upset me and I take no notice of it. There have always been factions at our club, so your assertion is nothing new. In many respects the best thing for the club would be for Stynes to step down. He can't help the club in his current state and I doubt good decisions will be made with regard to corporate governance while we're in this period. I like McLardy, but I doubt he's Chairman material.

As for Neeld having enough support from the MFC ? I completely disagree with your assertion. We've headhunted Misson and Misson's right hand man from St.Kilda to head up fitness; and Neeld has announced that we will have 8 full-time coaches next year. Last year we had five. How many will the Tiges have in 2012 ?

Understandably Richmond supporters will have had enough of me and my club on your forum. I'll desist. :thumbsu:

RODNEY Eade has confirmed he has been approached by St Kilda as a possible candidate for its vacant senior coaching position.
<snip>

Eade is one of the most experienced and most recently active of the former senior coaches available, along with Neil Craig and Mark Harvey.

Craig is believed to have five offers in front of him, with senior roles at Richmond and Melbourne considered to be the most likely destination for the former Crows coach.

Eade is also in demand, having held interviews with Adelaide and Melbourne - and also being considered by Collingwood’s for its controversial appointment of football director.

Eade and Craig are both being heavily courted to take a position that high-powered Collingwood president Eddie McGuire has earmarked for his coaching guru Mick Malthouse.

More than u lol. If your going to beat ur chest over having 8 coaches as if its an amazing feat u should check how many the team u are bragging to has.

Hardwick, Campbell, Leppa, Lade, Daly, Craig/midfield coach (one or the other), plus 4 development coaches would = 10 on my count.

Look, clearly you aren't understanding me. I'm not talking about "development" coaches I'm talking about full-time assistant coaches. We've got development coaches too. I've checked both websites and Richmond also only have 5 full-time senior assistants this year. As stated, we'll have 3 more than you next year unless you're expanding. Given your crippling debt I doubt it.

PS: I'm exceedingly happy to bow out, but will respond to inaccuracies.

You know what I found so impressive about Neeld? He hadn't even meet with his entire playing list almost a week after being appointed head coach of the club... No that's a coach who really cares about his players.

Watts said himself on TFS, he hadn't met him 6 days after being appointed and was meeting him the next day..... at the Dees Best and Fairest. Very impressive.

Talking about crippling debt , were it not just last year that you had a demolition program/fund raising to get you out of the sh!t ??

As melbourne have done WE ALSO will be retireing our debts by the end of 2013 as well as spending an extra 2 mill + on you football dept.

And unlike your sorry mob we have a home which we will improve and spend in excess of 2 million dollars getting to mcg size,So next time you go past Punt Road oval have a good look what a real club looks like.

Now as others have said to you about multiplying .........
