There's no doubt it's a failing of mine. I assume I'm dealing with idiots in every day life and usually aren't disappointed..

I have to have more faith. :thumbsu:

given the quality of this post the only idiot in here is yourself, but hey you support melbourne.....btw great sig

I'm over it
Far to many are hanging way to much importance on getting him that we may miss others who could offer just as much value to the playing group and the club . Hopefully the RFC has spread its options wide in pursuit of what will improve our fortunes in 2012 and beyond If its Neil then fine but I hope we haven't just drunk at the one well

Would you be over it if its a done deal and it is us? lol as many have said just because we dont know does not mean the club dont ;) Also we have been Silent to date i am sure that would continue. However it does not mean we dont get results.

(News for what its worth)

Carlton as we know are throwing money at him and my link is saying dont count out (The AFL) in job offers.. also clubs are getting restless as pre season draws near

this is resulting in craig and his people pushing decisions further and further to make the right one (hopefully Richmond:D).

But media writers are just trying to choose what seems most logical and run with them as facts ...

as to who is in the "Box seat" per say .. (Richmond and Carlton)

my link keeps reassuring me that it seriously could go any were... As hints and clues may be used to throw us (media) off.

Expect the Unexpected :thumbsu::footy::thumbsdown:

i asked my friend dose the media (you) have any clue as to what will really happen? He said " not really, its similar to the Harvey sacking as it was speculated but clubs these days are as quite as church mice"

I spoke to damien Barett yesterday, whom told me the following;

Craig was back in Vic for secondary talks with both Melb & Richmond. Melb has offered more money, but does not mean he will go there;
He agreed with me, Melb are bulk buying, panick buying , anyone whom sounds good. Not sure how much homework they are doing, want to come across , they are making decisions?
Richmond is quiet,cards very close to chest (I like it)..
I am predicting Neil Craig's announcement will be
Next Wednesday @ 11.00am!!!
AT PUNT ROAD....:thumbsu::D:spade:

So hope your right about everything you have said to date. If you are credit to you ;)

Would be great if true about Craig. Still reckon Malthouse is a big chance to end up with us in some sort of role outside of coaching.

Reckon if he came it would be 2013. And **** me it would be an impressive team. FTF put to great use.

Malthouse said it takes a good 5-10 years to assemble the right team of people to win you a premiership, I think we are 2 years into that journey, I hope we keep adding quality and that premiership will come.

Chris Scott may suggest differently come Saturday evening.

However, his (IMO) is more a case of right man at the right time.

Melbourne are really confident they have put the best deal (pay & Job description) to Neil Craig & He was very impressed with what they were telling him.

They sound like they are very very happy & confident with their offer ! Hope they are wrong.

one thing to be happy about is we are being smart about this.

Brisbane, Melbourne, and allegedly Carlton (although they deny) have all given Craig an offer over ours if the media reports are correct. Looks like we have not panicked though, and are not getting into a bidding war.

Our man for our price, or bring in the next option :thumbsu:

been told the same

did Barret place a date or is he just speculating it will happen after Gf weekend? or you just throwing dates up dates :D?

Can someone please explain why everyone is so gaga over Craig? He coached the Crows for, what, 7 years(?) for a record of 92-74 or just over 55%(?). Not bad, but not brilliant either. Never reached a Grand Final, and hasn't taken his team to a PF since 2006. Sure he's got a good sports fitness and conditioning background, but surely so do a lot of other people who would come a lot cheaper.

Birdman: The date & time is my gut feeling, not Damien Barrett's;

Im more confident than what he was, based on how we are playing our cards;

So come next Wednesday 11.00am I hope the cameras are at Punt Rd, not elsewhere. Time will tell;:cool:

!!! Richmond want Craig and it's a good decision, Melbourne want Craig and it's "anyone whom sounds good".

Melbourne have a new coach, and are making a few changes at the Football Department - as you would expect. If we can get good people into those positions, how is that different to what every club does?

Carry on ...
