I don't understand the love for Duggan. Can't think of anything that he's great at. Wouldn't get a game at Melbourne.
Would any of our players?

Names?
That sounds like a fun game, name one current West Coast Eagles player that would get a game in Melbourne's best 22?I don't understand the love for Duggan. Can't think of anything that he's great at. Wouldn't get a game at Melbourne.

It doesn't work like that though.Names?
Rioli would be top 5 in any side. Plenty of others would make melbourne's 22 as others note.It doesn't work like that though.
You're comparing players who have the advantage of being able to play in a flag side to players in a bottom four side. Surrounded by elite and confident players in an elite system that allows them to play like a beast, versus a team with no cohesion.
Do you think Bailey Hedgehog would be AA in our side?
Hunt? Hamez Hamez? Neale-Bullen? Spargo? These are all average players who are in an environment that enables them to play their very best football.
Tim Kelly is a Rolls Royce in a top 4 side but flakier than a flake in a bottom 8 side. He'd be a walk upstart to that Melbourne side - even with that outrageously good midfield.
Nisbett had already said the same. You’d rather Duggan tell an obvious lie?Duggan would want to shut the fu** up about what rules the club did and didn’t have in place if he wants to be the next skipper.
Isn't that what we've been doing for years and everyone gets up in arms about the club being too soft ?If you want your players to buy-in surely the way to do that is build their trust by protecting them and disciplining them internally rather than feeding them to the media wolves, in particular the younger guys like Chesser.

Correct.Isn't that what we've been doing for years and everyone gets up in arms about the club being too soft ?
Username checks outthe main takeaway from all of this is that we’ve got another great running midfielder who likes to party in Chesser, finally. Cousins reincarnate. Our rebuild has well and truly begun![]()
The Review started last year and is probably still ongoing..

He is arguably at best same level as Darcy tucker. He needs to be seen as that sort of level.
He is 25 and this version of Duggan is the best we will get. I have never watched a game and thought “gee lucky we had Duggan otherwise we would have lost”.
Massively overrated.
Seems a bit odd for the club to be pissy at a few players going to a night club due to potential covid exposure and then allow a meet and greet.

I love that these young guys broke the poxy rules and went out to have a few beers/party, they’ve endured a shit couple of years lots of work stress that constantly permeates through their private lives.
I hope they had an absolute ball, got rid of some work stress.
Good on ya boys!
Except that actually didn't break any rules.I love that these young guys broke the poxy rules and went out to have a few beers/party, they’ve endured a shit couple of years lots of work stress that constantly permeates through their private lives.
