I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't go with my MS Paint version I put forward, but I suppose it will do.

I love it, great design in the background and hopefully looks as good in the photo as it does in real life!

'Player issue Guernsey used for product images, retail Guernsey does not include GPS stiching pocket behind neck. Number pressing is an additonal charge'

Hopefully the whole template in general is the same (without the GPS stitching) on the replica.

They do most things right the Hawks, but the clash jumper is not one of them.

It's not. The one that'll be available for sale will differ greatly in material, cut and fit.

Yes, however they don't talk about ALL the differences, only the GPS pouch.
All the design elements of the guernsey by the sounds of it (especially collar and side panels) will be different to the player issue and with a picture like that, you still mislead customers. A few years ago, the proper collar and sidepanels would still be there (my baby blue clash) and that's why people could get confused. Because of the cost-cutting, different template = different product being shown.

I hope I'm completely wrong here, I really do. If someone has a photo of the "retail" version in person, I'd love to see it.

We do have to remember what last years clash knit looked like, first.
What a flaccid piece of cloth. Nothing endearing about it at all.

Guess we best see what this new one looks like in real life first....but it can't we worse....Can it?

It'll be the new design on the home guernsey retail template. Look at the home guernsey pic on the shop website and that'll be it.

Alright, thanks for the clarification. Might have to wait for the end of season auctions. Until then, I'm not going to waste my money.

LOL I feel your pain KohPhi. I hate that Cartlon doesn't cater for bigger sizes. All our merch stops at 3XL, and even with the traditional navy, if you're carrying a bit extra and want a jumper you can wear over other layers...you've got no chance.

Should have been at the Christmas shop sale. Unless you were the Michelin man or wanted a navy tent it was a waste of time.

I've said it before on this forum (I think), but the light blue would've looked a lot better with white shorts and navy socks, as opposed to the light blue shorts. Just a small change, but one that would've neutralised the lighter blue.

And even better with navy blue shorts like the Waratahs and NSW Stote of Origin wear. Definitely needed contrasting shorts for maximum effect.
