LOL I feel your pain KohPhi. I hate that Cartlon doesn't cater for bigger sizes. All our merch stops at 3XL, and even with the traditional navy, if you're carrying a bit extra and want a jumper you can wear over other layers...you've got no chance.

Should have been at the Christmas shop sale. Unless you were the Michelin man or wanted a navy tent it was a waste of time.

That's it.. I'm going to email the Carlton Shop for them to stock a Blues themed moo moo. :D

Same. Have they gone with the same makers of 'the dress'

We already did that a while back:

anyone good with design ?

I've always been intrigued with a clash that is still Navy Blue with a white logo, but the logo is huge runs and from the neckline all the way to the bottom.

Keeps our colours but would look completely different

I think I've seen a mock up like that before, and while it qualified as a clash strip, didn't look that flash.

Like something you'd see as a pattern on some satin boxers.

I won't say I'm good with design, but that sounds like an almighty mess.
For a start the scale would need to be altered and even if we got the balance right, the end product would be...........over the top.

It's not so much design that may get in the way of a brilliant end product as it may be the cost of manufacture.
It's not as cheap as it used to be in China. They've worked it well to get the business and now call the shots.

The aim for the CFC should be is to have an item with real street cred. Something we could wear as a fashion item as much as a show of support for our team.
Easy to say and hard to do.......It's like saying, let's just write a great pop song.....sounds easy....but good luck at hitting all the right notes.

I did one like that over 10 years ago on The Blue View. Had a look around and cannot find it anywhere. It did not look that great to be honest, but wanted to see what it would look like.

Personally not a fan of weird designs. Just stick with the basic/classic. What's next a honeycomb pattern?

Navy blue monogram on white.
White monogram on navy blue.

I don't want this to get as ridiculous as the clash guernseys from *. If they really have to change the clash guernsey every year, just stick close to home as possible.

This one is alright I guess (like the white/grey around the shoulders and neck). But they need to try and avoid going any more grey. I suppose it is the first step transitioning to GWS colours.

I understand where you're coming from but you have to not just keep in tempo of what may be wanted from the public, but to be several steps ahead of the game. I've already outlined the reasons for this being the case and if you're not trying to be exciting and inventive........you'll simply fall behind.

We don't make our guernseys out of wool any more either. Good reason for that.

Not that classic. Just something reasonable while fresh.

Yeah I guess you're right. Just don't wish to see the club turn from the navy blues into the dreary greys.

I think it's a step in the right direction and I din't think I'd be saying this.

Merchandise is an important component of marketing and to a lesser degree, revenue.

Remain status quo and you'll simply fall behind.....in administration, football department, marketing and merchandising.

Well aware of that.

Upgrading of merchandise is okay, so long as it doesn't tarnish the 'identity' and 'proud history' (well most of it anyway) of a successful sporting club and business. One wrong move, then sales could easily cripple.

I have a question for everyone on here.
(Yes, it's about the different retail guernseys) did anyone actually buy one last year?? A home OR clash guernsey?
Because if no one did, it's exactly this:

Bright white is harsh on the eyes, especially during a night game. North v Sydney probably has most people changing the colour mode on their TV.
