Carlton Football Club is pleased to announce a new seven-year partnership with Carlton & United Breweries (CUB).

CUB is now the official beer and cider partner of the Carlton Football Club and Mercury Hard Cider will be the Blues’ official shorts partner for the remainder of the 2017 season.

Carlton’s players will run out in the newly branded shorts on Saturday afternoon when they face St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Does this mean we will still be searching for a new jumper sponsor as I imagine career one won't be sticking around up there for much longer?

I think it was Sam Maclure, broke this yesterday with CareerOne going into liquation late yesterday.

Hopefully we can obtain further sponsors along the way with our promising outlook.

Onwards & upwards.

Restructured to employ their factory workers through a labour hire firm, sacked the lot of them and offered their jobs back at a 60% pay cut, workers go on strike, unskilled scabs + bad publicity forces new overseas owners to step in, original workers reinstated on their old pay, happy endings all round!
Yep.

Had to stop buying their products for a while. It's surprising how many brands they control.

So CUB got caught doing the wrong thing, had their business and reputation damaged for a period, until new management came in and set things right again? Seems like the most appropriate sponsor for Carlton FC then! :p

You'd think a club like ours who is a big traditional Victorian club, who always get quite a lot of publicity which will only increase as we continue to improve on-field would have no trouble finding a good sponsor.
