News New 7 year deal with CUB

Carlton Football Club is pleased to announce a new seven-year partnership with Carlton & United Breweries (CUB).

CUB is now the official beer and cider partner of the Carlton Football Club and Mercury Hard Cider will be the Blues’ official shorts partner for the remainder of the 2017 season.

Carlton’s players will run out in the newly branded shorts on Saturday afternoon when they face St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

While the club would not comment on the amount involved, it's believed Carlton will earn approximately $1 million depending on how many seasons CUB stays on as short sponsors.

So CUB got caught doing the wrong thing, had their business and reputation damaged for a period, until new management came in and set things right again? Seems like the most appropriate sponsor for Carlton FC then!

You'd think a club like ours who is a big traditional Victorian club, who always get quite a lot of publicity which will only increase as we continue to improve on-field would have no trouble finding a good sponsor.
