The office space out back that the Adelaide Football League used to use. And the SANFL umpiring before that.

Does ANYONE still use it?
Im pretty sure Adelaide football league is now in Norwood and the SANFL umpiring is at Adelaide Oval now.

If not, you could easily get rid of it. Under the heritage listed stand you have 1 changeroom for teams and the umpires changeroom (Mightn't be AFL standard though)
And that building out the left has another. (Though, they did redevelop that by putting a wall straight through the middle to create 4 changerooms (2 here ontop of the 1 each under the 2 other stands). - Might be perfect for umpires now, men in one, women in another)

But obviously we'd have a changeroom in the new facilities in the outer. We can use that, umpires can use that room at the end, and the away teams can use the old one in the main stand.

Arrowman's report from preseason work at the new HQ:

Today's session was focused on precision of earth movement, so we didn't see as much speed of movement as perhaps we'd like. Hopefully they'll bring in more speed in the next few weeks.

With the crews divided into what appeared to be As and Bs, it was interesting to see new workers Kevin and Barry running backhoes for the As, and they more than held their own. Kevin in particular pulled off a couple of silky moves, dropping dirt into passing trucks with confidence.

Veteran bulldozer operator Tony looked to be restricted in his movements and left the site after an hour. He was replaced by young gun Jaxxon, who took a while to get a feel for the work, but finished up with a few confident sweeps of the blade.

All in all, an impressive session, but it remains to be seen if the crew will be up to it when the concrete trucks come out and the real stuff starts.

Went past the ground again today and the south western mound has now been levelled. Further earth moving all over the site. It’s all systems go. Huge transformation
We’re doing a full rebuild, hopefully Nicksy not in charge!

Do we have official confirmation from the club yet that it will be called The bigman Centre? Maybe we can get a statue of him, too. Nothing too over the top, but I'm envisioning something along the lines of Christ the Redeemer overlooking the training track. Can call it Bigman the Reporter.
With a staircase inside so people can climb up and look at training through Bigman's eyes.

Good to see work has begun.

Im not complaining but I feel we like we compromised and delayed more than we initially thought with Thebarton but we have to take what we can get. I doubt a second oval or a stage 2 will ever occur.
