sImply can't understand why the govt wouldn't discuss probably it's most worrying social issue, with Australuas leading sport that also has the same issues. You would think the govt would realise how the sport can influence public opinion and use that influence. But no the govt will continue to fund AFL and don't care about anything apart from the AFL getting enough players to play the sport.
I could be wrong, they may not give a toss and see there jobs as politicians as nothing more than jobs and not concern themselves with anything but being paid.
