Sounds juicy. Cant wait to spread this goss throughout the building.
However i;m still not quite sure just when a trist between consenting adults became even remotely newsworthy or scandalous.

This thread keeps popping up and I think "Yes! The rear laneway sex bandit has been revealed!"

But no. :(

To be honest Chief, your fascination with the "rear laneway" is becoming a little obsessive.
Surely as the Chief you can afford a little backdoor ballet whenever you want it? Seduce some innocent little newbie poster with all your powers, then BANG, you're a Rear Admiral at will.

Who would have though a thread on extra-marital sex would become so crude? That's the bloody internet for you.

AFL sex scandal: Neighbour recounts more details on latest affair

20/10/2017

AN eagle-eyed neighbour has poured more fuel on the latest AFL sex scandal. And it reads like a script from Benny Hill, or ultimate pantsman Alvin Purple.

Page 13 last week revealed that the relationship between a prominent footy figure and influential industry colleague had disintegrated amid allegations that the former — apparently happily married — was getting it on with the latter’s partner.

Now a neighbour has detailed how they witnessed the footy figure frequently coming and going (sorry, couldn’t resist) from the industry colleague’s home in inner Melbourne when he was out.

“It was ridiculous”, said the neighbour. “Every single time he would wear a dark navy hat pulled down over his eyes, with a big jacket and the collar turned up.”

The neighbour has even recounted a farcical scene when the footy figure was almost caught with his pants down.

As the cuckolded colleague unexpectedly arrived at his front door one day, the spellbound neighbour watched as the frantic footy figure and the bed-headed partner desperately grappled to get the back gate open.

“XX (name removed) was at the front gate and there was panic at the back because XX (name removed) and XX (name removed) were trying to get the back gate open.”

Far be it from Page 13 to cast aspersions on the bedroom antics of others. But maybe the AFL set the moral bar too high for everyone in the game when it started preaching about marriage, affairs and keeping your trousers on.

It certainly has not been lost on a few with knowledge of the affair allegations in the industry, not least the footy figure’s former colleague. And while this latest scandal is all being kept very much hush-hush at the moment, it is understood those involved are getting increasingly nervous. Watch this space.

So let me get this straight

We have an affair between two consenting adults and the end result is that it gets splashed in the Herald Sun's version of women's day or Buzzfeed???

A FOOTY figure is embroiled in allegations that he had an affair with the partner of a close professional colleague.

The married football figure’s alleged romantic entanglement has also ended his friendship with the colleague who worked in the industry.

Whistleblowers have told Page 13 that the industry executive was devastated when he learned of his partner’s trysts with the prominent footy figure which, several sources say, lasted for several years.

It is understood the two men had worked together on some projects and were personal friends.

Page 13 was contacted about the alleged affair by one of about a dozen key operators in the football world who are understood to be aware of the explosive claims.

Asked about the issue, the footy colleague said he did not wish to comment. He would only say: “I am no longer in touch with him. We don’t talk anymore.”

The footy figure was allegedly seen by neighbours entering and exiting his colleague’s house several times when he was away — including scurrying away via the rear lane way after being interrupted during one liaison with his colleague’s partner in 2013.

It is claimed that the footy figure had also joked with his industry colleague that he planned to hook up with his partner.

And he asked him for photographs of the woman and made several crude references to having sex.

The alleged affair is also discussed in a text exchange, which has been seen by Page 13, between a workmate of the alleged footy philanderer and the industry colleague.

In one text, the workmate mentions the accused footy cheat’s name, before saying to the industry colleague: “s**t. Let me know if I can help mate.”

The simmering issue, which has been bubbling below the surface for a number of years, has emerged just months after two senior AFL executives were forced to quit over affairs.

AFL football operations manager Simon Lethlean was forced to resign over an affair with young Sydney-based staffer Maddi Blomberg, the girlfriend of rugby union star Kurtley Beale. Commercial manager Richard Simkiss stood down over an affair with Ali Gronow, legal counsel at AFL House in Docklands.

The Lethlean and Simkiss affairs became public after leaks from whistleblowers, concerned by that organisation’s treatment of women.

Gotta love this s**t. Poor ole women who are apparently so powerful and strong they can do everything a man can do, except take responsibility for their actions, and need to be looked after constantly in case big bad men make them have affairs.
