Rugby League Live cover is very average, 2 or 3 players on a cover looks great unless it's done the way 2K have done it.

Ross, will there be a finals series mode? Just being able to play the finals series? Would be great, kind of like Lounge Mode in FIFA

Unless I am majorly mistaken, the 3 selected cover athletes are going to be pretty obvious:

Franklin
Swan

But the RLL cover is basically the same as the NBA 2K11 and Madden 11 covers. All 3 feature a single player in an action shot with the title written above or below it. The only difference is the background colours and the shadow of Jordan on 2K11.

Not sure they could get it much more similar without blatantly ripping it off.

I know there's a cover thread but one quick thing:

Bigant have to have someone who sells such as Buddy.

In the RLL cover there had some steve price guy and not everyone knows who it is. I don't know who chooses the cover athlete but i reckon they should gone for a player like GI or billy slater.

Anyway who says people hate Lebron

I put this on the covers thread, but I'm not sure if Ross reads it. I know it isn't a good idea to ship out 17 different copies of the game, each with a different cover. But would a limited time pre-order bonus (exclusive to EB?) where you name your team, and a cover insert of your team's captain or marquee player is included with the normal one be feasible? Making it a limited time offer would give BAS/TruBlu/HES enough time to print the correct number of inserts and distribute them to each store in time for release. Better than some dodgy ball.

I'd be perfectly happy with a variation of the RLL cover for the game.
As long as it doesn't look completely crap I'll have no issue with it. Even if it does look completely crap, I'd probably get over it straight away if the game is good.
And judging from what Ross has mentioned about the game, I think it will be.

How would that be implemented in the game because all the AFL player's salaries are kep't secret?

Surely if its going to be 3 players on the cover the fair thing to do would be have 1 player from the 3 main Footy states Vic, WA and SA, not all from Victoria
