Here's my idea for a Saint's clash. You could also invert the red and the white and have it as an away as well.

Although I reckon merge the old logo into it like this ;

they cant use the stick man because the people who own the licensing rights to the old TV show 'the saint' sent st kilda a cease and desist letter back in the 80's telling them they would have the pants sued off them if they kept using him.

How about havign the 2005 Heritage jumper that was used against North Melbourne (black, yellow and red vertical stripes) instead? It's a gorgeous jumper, and no white ( to please the soccer people), and certainly not that horrid yellow peril, which looked disgusting..

The jumper itself looked pretty good, but the numbers were terribly hard to distinguish.

Knocked up a couple jumpers. Looks like the Club wants white so i based it on that. As much as everyone likes the red with the cross i think it looks dated and well, Sh*t.
The front on the second one looks a little bare but you gotta imagine it joined together about 10 feet in the air as Roo Rips down a grab.

I liked B but as shown it looks a little Fitzroy - which is not a good thing

The cross design i always liked and could never understand why we got rid of it. I think an alternative jumper should be bright as its there in case of clases so even if the yellow was a little ugly we only wore it at training and the odd game.

Premiership soccer teams all have quite bright alternate tops and i think its the way to go with clash jumpers

I was at that game, and I loved that strip.

I knew you guys got around in black, red and gold for a period, and always wanted you guys to roll out the strip in a heritage match.

For what it's worth, the heritage games should be for these jumpers, I dont buy into the rest of it, the 80s or 70s blah blah, I just love seeing clubs in old school jumpers. The hawks in blue white and red? LOVE IT!

North has an old strip kicking around that has a red sash on blue and white. I hope we whack that out one day.

St Kilda also unveiled its new alternate clash guernsey, requested by the AFL for games against Collingwood, Essendon, Melbourne, Fremantle and Carlton. The jumper is predominantly white, with red, black and white trim, and the St Kilda club logo at the front.

Does not look too bad on.

I presume we only have to wear this for away games against the above clubs. It really is a joke to think we clash with all those teams. Bloody training tops.

Why is the Saints logo faded?

I'm not a big fan of it but we only have to wear it on three occasions and we'll make plenty of money out of it. I couldn't understand why anyone would buy the yellow jumper but plenty of people did.

The point of a clash strip is to make it a light colour. Saints' home strip is predominantly black, therefore their clash strip must be predominantly white, red (or yellow)
