Another crappy knee jerk reaction thread. Zero chance we will get rid of him with 2 and a half years on his contract. Lets see how the season ends. We win a final it's a great result.

a home final is a pass.

Winning a final is a good result.

A great result would be getting our shit in order and siezing the opportunity for top four that is still miraculously alive.

i appreciate your posting wild bill and for the record I'm not one who wants us to pull the trigger. I was interested on the thoughts of those who have been calling for scotts head to provide an alternative. What are your thoughts should we miss finals?

We should be throwing plenty at Worsefold. A great coach is available and it is time to get rid of the hack

That is an excellent suggestion, he would shake these players up for sure.

No way, I'll do it, I would have the smarts to put Jacobs on a lot earlier in wet conditions

And he was pretty good with the limited time he had on the ground.

Knee jerk reaction lol, we just got beat by the bottom side. I am convinced Wild Bill is Brad Scott no doubt.

What happens if we don't win a final? What happens if we don't make the 8? What then? Seriously Bill what? :stern look

I don't agree, under no pressure at all.
Like most of our list he has been rewarded with a long term deal on the back of nothing.
Beat me to it. As he is under no pressure, the NMFC Board (our Board) should insist he set and enforce non-negotiable minimum standards of effort and commitment on gameday.

I haven't been to training so I don't know how cruisey that is. If necessary, the blowtorch should be applied at training as well.

The walk in the park efforts should be no more.

He did say ''another'' knee jerk reaction. The knee jerk reactions are becoming so regular they're hardly knee jerk reactions anymore.

But Imagine walking into a board meeting and being confronted by this?

How could you take the board of directors seriously? :stern look

I think the problem is not Scott, I think it is something to do with the new coaches. We brought in some high ranking coaches with new high quality strategy plans.Unfortunately those game plans require intelligent players to play it out.

So when the Gws defeated the Swans longmire should have been sacked? Upsets happen - it is part of the game.

What happens if we do - what happens if we make a prelim? I would think some posters on here would be shattered if we had some success this year.

My biggest issue is why was he re-signed for an extra 2 years? What was the hurry? That imbecilic decision could cost the club $$$$. It's a decision bordering on negligent and I assume James Brayshaw was the 'brains' behind such a bizarre move.

If u needed any convincing that BS ain't a good game day coach, just watch last nights first quarter. It is obvious that Spud is no match for Merrett. However, it took BS nearly 2 quarters to switch SDT onto Merrett. The move should've been made before 1/4 time.

His gameday coaching would have to be the worst in the league. I have said all along he is a good assistant coach being good at delegating training sessions and all the little thing that assistant coaches do but hopeless at getting consistency out of a team.
