Blind Freddy can see that Scott Stevens has the frame that will never fill out properly. He is not built like a footballer. KPP and midfielders are entirely different cattle of fish. How skinny is Mattner yet he is one of the most physical players on our list. Cooney is built better than Ray but he is not the physical type. Tim Schmidt selected by Sydney in last year's draft is a skinny kid but he is tough as nails.

I would draft on talent all the time BUT they must have the frame that will fill out. Scott Stevens clearly doesn't have the frame that will fill out properly.

I said Skinny is risky - do they fill out?, do they play physical footy? - I was referring to KPP.
I don't think anyone has called Watts skinny, or a non physical footballer. In fact it was stated quite clearly that he had the frame that would fill out.

I also said get the mix right!!!

But if you have an agressive skinny kid going up against a Ruccuito type player, I know who my moneys on.
And thats how you have to make your recruiting decisions.
Get a blend of skillful and hard physical players in your team.
Thats why I want Waters next year

First saw Ray up here in Darwin (had not heard of him at that stage) and he impressed big big time.
He didn't do that much really, but what he did do had that something special about it.

Hopefully he will have a stop-over at Port on the way back to WA.

You lot can have Gerry. He will be a good player for sure, but just how good is debatable at this stage.

His hairdo for some reason makes me think of Gerry Cooney "The Great White Hope", although he had dark hair I think.
Must be Getting wires crossed between Great White Shark and Cooney.
