Absolutely not. Believe that CC has guided this club to be one of the power houses of the competion and we finally have respect. Can you remember the days before CC, we were a joke.

I remember the bad days all too well unfortunately. CC has been a good development coach for us but I'm starting to think he's taken us as far as he can. We're not getting much respect for our performances so far this year are we? And nor should we.

At this stage we need a coach who can get the most out of the talent on our list and CC is yet to prove he can do that consistently. He can coach but he'd probably be a better fit for a club like Carlton or Richmond at this stage.

He is definetly in the top three coaches. His record proves it.

Umm wake up, we still are :(

You can have Sumich, we'll take Worsfold off your hands.

It's hard to judge Suma's impact at WCE being an assistant coach. I have been told that he is tactically very good and coming from a Freo WAFL team and also playing in 2 G/F's, he may just be our man :thumbsu:

If we can overlook the fact that he played for "them", then I am willing to give him a go :D

I can overlook that he played for WCE.. but South Freo.. yeck! :p

We could have had him too if Schwab didn't want CC so much.

I don't want Daniher. The D's have been a model of mediocracy. Why in the hell would we want more of that?

For the record, if we lose nest week or against Carlton - sack CC as soon as it happens.

If we win the next 3 straight - keep him until the end of the season.

The next 3 weeks are that important in my mind.

If this be the scenario, then at least we will get to test Harvey as a caretaker coach before any real commitment; kind of like a try before you buy situation :p

CC has been there for near on 6 years with the same old **** thing. All the gobbing off that we are top four material has also long worn off and the journey has come to an end.

We are two games off the top 8 with a carp percentage, we will struggle for the remainder of the season again with such a top squad.

Sack him now, give Harvey the job and then make the decision at the end of the year.

I am "gob smacked" that people still think that CC will take us anywhere and we should persist. He has had his chance. He is weak and indecisive.

It astounds me also

Disagree with giving Harvey the job. In the media he looks even more indesicive that CC.

I believe he did a good job during the last half of last year when he ran the team. Give him a go for the last half of the year. We have seen what CC cannot do.

Gobbing off in the media is different to coaching and bringing the best of players in a football game.

You see. I just don't buy that. We have also seen what CC can do.

CC is the leader of our club (onfield performance wise) and he's gotta get the good with the bad. He did get us to a position where we won 8 games in a row and made a prelim. That was CC. Not Harvey. Harvey is not the answer IMO.

Thompson, Roos, and Craig. Also, having some mongrel doesn't mean that you will be successful. Ayres was the perfect example of that.

Less than 3 months ago Geelong was calling for Thompson to be sacked. Quite a few of their players too. Nobody would be suggesting Thompson gets the boot now. He has been at catland as long as Connolly, and I would rate Connolly a better coach. In the end what he has done is manage to get a bunch of perennial underachievers to click.

What? Click how? Up one week, down the next?

What we need is CONSISTENCY, STRUCTURE, GAMEPLAN, SELF-BELIEF no matter who is on the park that week.

What we get is 'The Journey'

What can he do? The players on our list have all accumulated a solid number of games under thier belt. I believe that is why they play better. There are not a lot of youngsters in our side.

Compare us to Hawthorn, Collingwood, Port Adelaide to name a few. They have young players in there performing. Why are they performing? Because the structure, game plan and style of play is superior. They have a team collective. Freo doesnt.

I agree. With some fellow fans to question CC's postion as coach is tantamount to sacrilage. You get abused for suggesting we may need another option for coaching.
CC is no where near the worst coach (Terry Wallace), however he certainly isnt in the top bracket either.
Guys like Paul Roos starting coaching well after CC, with a team with arguably less superstars like ours - and have won a premiership.
