New Collingwood Jumper

I think the new Collingwood away jumpers actually look pretty good (much better than the bar-code effort a few years back), but couldn't help but think they do look a bit similar to the Port Adelaide Magpies strip?

hmmmmm, yes, I believe that was a lame attempt at a joke on Collingwood.

The jumper looks fine, but that's not the point. I just don't see the point in changing your jumper unless it is to avoid a clash with the opposition. This new Magpies jumper with white numbers just makes it harder to tell the difference when they play Essendon, Carlton and Melbourne - the "dark" teams, who also have white numbers on a dark background.

The AFL should FORCE clubs to avoid a clash with the opposition by having a "dark" jumper and a "light" jumper for home games and away games. Clubs will still have a different jumper to sell for money-making purposes in this case, yet they will also have a jumper which distinguishes them from the opposition. I don't see the point in these meaningless jumper changes, which serve no purpose.

the Ansett Cup one looks pretty shite i reckon. Seeing as i cant bare to wear my 2000 guernsey with my number 8 now (ew Clement) I am gonna wear me 1990 premiership guernsey 2morrow night i think! GO PIES!!! Time to live up to all the talk....live up to the Collingwood name for once!!!
