Just doing him a good Favour but I see him Struggling to get into the Best 22 next year.

He is good Defensively but poor Offensively.

Crip has already gone past him as he is good running both ways

In the VFL, play him as a ball winning midfielder so he can improve on that. He's a good man and his hard work ethic will help the kids in the VFL plus good depth for the AFL team.

Poor guy. Injuries have ruined a decent career. Never a star but always played a role well.


Will be good back up, he'll be treacle slow after recovery.

Disagree quite heavily with that comment Pera, he is similar to Goldsack in what he offers defensively but is also a much better target playing as a high half forward flanker. I don't mean that as any disrespect to Goldy either, to be perfectly honest I think Tyson is more suited to a role at half back and it still feels foreign to me seeing hi line up forward, despite how long he's done it for us.

Blair and Goldsack both lose their spot in the team if they're playing that role before Macaffer IMO - remember it was the smalls in Leon Davis, Paul Medhurst and Tarkyn Lockyer that Caff was keeping out when we won the premiership.

As a pure forward I'd play him (when fit) over Gault, Blair, Goldsack, Dwyer and probably Karnezesisisis (at this stage will need to show more).

Where would you play him?

Not every player on the list has to have immediate or certain best 22 potential though Dave. Armstrong the case in point. Not recruited because the club expected him to play every week or be an automatic best 22 option. Lists are restricted to 44 and only ever 22 can play but having a few players who can be promoted with some confidence if needed is always handy.
