Mansfield is where he wants to be and that's north (lol). There was no chance of him leaving and with the #1 pick in the PSD he couldn't go anywhere if he tried.

Ice Goddess, assuming he did leave (which he wont do now of course) and we couldnt trade him, what would be the point of wasting no.1 pick in PSD for him? im not having a crack, i just think its posing an interesting question on how much any club would want their player in that situation

Yes, that's a fair point but I was more referring to the idea that he's not disgruntled, wants to be in Victoria so there was no chance of him leaving. If the player was a gun you would imagine that there would be pressure placed on him to stay and you would use the threat of reclaiming him in the PSD, but if the relationship was untenable you would try to trade him where he wants to go and tell the other club you could redraft him.grayza said:
