2. Kookaburra.......No longer a New ball
3. Nibble..........No more ball movement off the pitch

probably heaps more too.

Batter is one that does grind my gears. Batter is for baseball or used on fish.
Michael Clarke started using batter when he was captain, said it was more inclusive.

That's because it is more inclusive, and seeings as you don't just have men's cricket on the telly anymore I reckon you're going to have to get used to that one.

"The pegs"
"slaps it"
"new rock in hand"
"hits a long ball"

Other than the last one (i.e hits a long ball) these have at least grown organically from social and grassroots level cricketers to the armchair fans into common use. This makes them far, far less jarring than any buzz word or phrase shoehorned in by a commentator/broadcaster trying to establish a brand.

"Mammoth". Everything in the cricket world is "mammoth" these days.

"Australia have set England a MAMMOTH 4th innings target."

"Williamson has made a MAMMOTH 150 against South Africa"

"West Indies have a MAMMOTH task ahead of them if they are to save this one."

we need Donald Trump to commentate cricket

everything is huge, mammoth, the largest we have ever seen

‘Tennis bally’
‘Two-paced.’

Not because they’ve really sort of been invented lately just because they seem to be used to describe virtually any pitch ever
Just once I want to see a player when doing one of those boring af mid-game interviews just say the pitch is an absolute road when asked about it.
