In the video there’s a bit where it looks shiny and almost 3d to an extent and it looks tough with the outline. The one outside the video looks like something you’d find in an old granny’s garden to keep the other birds off the fruit trees.

Always hard to guess how a new logo will appear in standard presentations (footy record, newspaper, AFL website etc.) when it's only ever shown off on a solid colour background.

This happens with most teams, but I remember it being particularly evident with the West Coast (royal background) and Richmond (black background) logo releases in their most recent iterations.

This Crows Shop logo gives us some idea as to how it might appear. No gold outline on the crow at all... it looks fairly plain?

The 2010-2024 logo was bad, it looked like a basketball logo, but this one looks like someone messed around for 1 minute in MS Paint. They already had a good Crow logo they could have repurposed from the 1991-2009 period.

Their SANFL logo is 1 billion times better. The Crows have pre-existing logos that blow that "new" NES 8 bit/MS Paint logo out of the water. Not sure what management is thinking at West Lakes.

It's AI-generated, just like the Tasmania logo was. Logos don't have to look good or even make sense in this day and age because people will just eat it up

I would say people are complaining because this new design is a mediocre version of a better, existing, successful logo (90s crow).

The fact that it's an upgrade on the previous raven is getting lost in the wash.

I actually think this logo will be a grower for a lot of folks. That said, the font is already dated.
