A gun is a bit too dramatic, but he certainly has potential.

I am baffled about this delisting and I've expressed my views on the roos board. Could be more to it, but if it's because of a contract that is too short, I don't understand why we don't just give what he wants seeing that we have no other young similar player.

LeCras was expected but Schwarze was a surprise as well but not as big. Could be a chance to get to another club as well.

Corrie is a surprise - a couple of years ago he was a real shining light for the Lions.

correct me if im wrong but didnt he do his knee? that would be the only reason of delisting him i presume. mabey they will rookie list him and get him back

I don't think he is a gun but has potential to be a good key defender. Guns don't get beaten convincingly at VFL level.

The problem for Perry, at North, is that with Petrie moving into defense it really makes it difficult for him to get much development time as a key defender, there is no point leaving him on our list for another 3 or 4 years with little to no senior game time when he could get the development at another club that lacks the tall defenders.

He still needs 2 or 3 years of senior level experience and he may not turn out to be an AFL quality player but I am sure he is worth a look at with a late pick.

Walker was a dud 6 years ago - finally someone else woke up to it.

Tristen Walker tortured Maggie supporters with a false sense of hope against the Tigers in Round 1 about three or four years ago by keeping Richo to just one goal. In reality, Richo on that Friday night kicked 1.6 with three out on the full and one that bounced out of bounds!
