John Elliot under mounting pressure has mentioned (on 3UZ this morning) that Stephen Kernahan will replace Wes Lofts as Director of Footballat Carlton.
Does this mean that Lofts has done a poor job? or does it mean that Elliot needs to be seen to be making some changes in Carlton's current plight taht he can put forward to memebers at the end of the year when he comes up for election. Lofts a staunch Elliot supporter, meanwhile will assumedly stay on as a Director of the club. What was that about deckchairs??
While you can understand this move, it was telegraphed by Kernahan's statements about player recycling in today's Herald Sun, but why has it taken them so long to do it? I have no doubt Kernahan will do a fine job but his appointment still raises a few questions?
