Red brick does have it's advantage over some other materials so that's a positive

Had a couple of hours spare on Tuesday so went for a bit of a look.
Was thinking of taking a couple of photos but there was nowhere with height to take any decent photos.
But it is looking good, progressing well.
There is one structure not in the photos there, that is at the other end of the ground that I am not sure what it is?

According to the plans I believe it is a "Facility Maintenance" structure

Bit of action going on down our end in front of the camera.
Doing the carpark and further work to the maintenance shed.
I can almost smell the bitumen.
Edit : Gravell

I was living in Springwood and the Lions moved in. I moved to near Springfield and my daughter goes to school there, and the Lions are moving in.

Do I buy a membership or stop moving to places with Spring in their name?

In all seriousness, I'll enjoy the extra AFL flavour around here.

Are they planning on playing preseason games or AFLW games out here?

In answer to your last question. Both.

In answer to the rest of your post.
Time to start supporting a real footy club.

Join us! Then you can finally enjoy watching your team play finals!

Fortunately, I'm old enough to remember and appreciate them. I lived in Melbourne before moving up here as a kid so can never change allegiances.

I'll just live in the past and watch old VHS tapes.

Yes do it, and do it now. (did you read the last bit with an Arnie accent?).

Get to the Chopper!! (how bout that one?).

Why not have two irons in the fire? Especially one a stonesthrow from your house.

Better do it quick though. According to Matthew Lloyd, it's 2022 or bust for the Lions. It's our year before our window closes.

So the window is open for the next decade then if Lloyd says it's not.

I will pop in to watch preseason games I'd say. Also AFLW when the Blues come up. It's going to be handy and any new dining experience is always welcome.

It's a good move from the Lions. It's really becoming quite the hub out here.

If only you'd moved to Spring Hill, a lot of folks around here would have been happier.
