Now that the club has launched a new branding with new logos following our premiership win, I think it's time to revamp the club website as well.
As a regular visitor to www.gfc.com.au I find:
Do you agree? Should we have a second, completely new website like Essendon? Should the current website be revamped? Or are you happy with the site as it is?
As a regular visitor to www.gfc.com.au I find:
- The design is dated: The current design has not changed for a number of years and is too similar with other AFL clubs sites.
- Content not up to date: We're still seeing stories on Tim Callan winning the reserves' B&F when he's now a Dog player. OK that's just an example but there are items that are weeks old and often just a copy of what's on the afl.com.au website.
Also in the off-season surely there could be more features for footy-starved supporters such as reviews of the season past, previews of the new season, interviews with coaches and players. More multimedia content would definitely enhance the site. - Poor response time: this is a common problem with all BigPond-powered club sites.
