Even though the WC/Lions/Crows/Hawks clash jumpers are bad atleast they do what a clash jumper is supposed to do which is to eliminate any clash (and make money), the Tigers/Bombers "clash" jumpers hardly do the job.
richmond really only clash with essendon and maybe port. and their clash, with the help of away shorts, works fine.. essendons clash imo has a simple principle however it doesn't work that well without the help of red shorts

Little bit off topic but does anyone else think that the Lions Fitzroy jumper is ****ing ugly (well, every lions jumper is ugly at the moment but this more so than the others)?

The Paddle Pop Lion is ugly.

The Fitzroy jumper (in any version) is my favourite of all time.

So, not really.

I loved the Lions Fitzroy jumper from a few years ago but I just don't like this one. I think it may have something to do with the red being 'inside' the yellow/gold lion, just looks horrible IMO.

They clash more with Adelaide than either of those teams (Essendon does as well, for that matter) and their clash does nothing to help. Any team that wears a predominantly black/navy/purple guernsey should wear a predominantly light coloured strip when they play away against an opposition team that also wears one of these colours. I've noticed Adelaide are picking and choosing a bit these days as well, only wearing their traditional guernsey against Port, when they would wear the clash without thinking twice against Carlton or Melbourne. That is where the whole clash strip thing gets ridiculous.

The yoke is crap. Why not cut it off higher on the front and line it up with the back? It still p*sses on the white abomination though. Clash should be gold.

Are you kidding?! The 'fat sash' is a blight on the game.

I agree with the last part though. Throw West Coast/Brisbane in there as well.

As for the Richmond one it's a bit meh. I would much prefer they wear a black on yellow inversion. WA has used the Swan jumper for quite a while now, so it shouldn't even be an issue. The Big-V is still in use so its not really a good comparison.
Essendon keep it simple and it works fine, whats wrong with that as a one off?

GWS have a different shade of grey on their shorts to the grey on their guernseys.

Doesn't look that different to me but if it is it may be because of different materials used.

If mainly black with yellow doesn't clash with mainly navy with yellow and red, then we may as well do away with clash jumpers altogether.

Watched the video and it was a clash but the only reason it wasn't a worse clash was because of the white shorts the Tigers were wearing.

white shorts solve a clash for quite a few match ups:

- carlton vs collingwood (white)
- port adelaide vs collingwood (white)
- north (white) vs collingwood

and so on
