I don't think it's any different (in fact: less obtrusive) than the manufacturer logo rectangle on the bottom left seen on Puma, ISC, Kooga, Adidas etc

Not surprised that Nike ended up putting something down there.

Slightly surprised that the AFL didn't make them put it on the left where the manufacturer tags normally go, though.

Well Nike always place the Dri-Fit logo on the bottom right on there running clothing I guess they went that way

It probably is the same colour, it most likely looks different because of the different material used in the jumper and socks though.

Is the colour between the "Anchor" guernsey's purple and the Chevron guernsey's purple different or the same?

'Cause IIRC, the Anchor guernsey purple was brighter...
