There should be a slight sliver of black and red on the left and right sides respectively.

And the club logo should be centred on the white panel, but going slightly over the other panels.

I'd also have the stripes a little thinner, so they don't touch the shoulder joint thing

Edit: I didn't realise that Benedict Cumberbatch played for St Kilda (or more likely Sandy)

IMO the majority of jumper clashes are caused by the back of jumpers being too similar. I mean, if our new clash had a black back, the whole kit would have a much darker look and would be useless against Essendon.

I mean, it was used in a game against our home jumper, which is about 50000000% closer to it than the Essendon jumper.

It's gonna clash with Essendon IMHO
Given it's about 80% white on the front with a completely white back, I highly doubt this will clash with a side that is 80% black.

I never had a problem when we wore the previous striped clash jumper against them, and this version has far more white on it.

Traditionally sucky
What exactly is wrong with a traditional design that we have worn, in one form or another, since the 1920's?

Although a Power fan would be well acquainted with "sucky" guernsey designs, I guess. You lot got lucky when a primary school aged girl designed your current gear, don't make me pull out some of your past efforts.

No need to get defensive big fella, this isn't the bay.

St Kilda have a boring guernsey design. It's one of the more boring designs in the league. People who have no emotional attachment to it find it boring, especially in comparison with some of your clashes or the 90s cross home guernsey.

St Kilda fans obviously love it.

That's pretty much how footy works.

I wouldn't mind seeing our VFL team wear it in 2017/whenever we're finally getting one.

Mum found a photo the other day of me wearing a long sleeve Sekem one, complete with the red cuffs, from when I was about 8. I wore a VFL PI short sleeve (with an AFL badge sewn over the VFL logo by the club) to the footy until 2010.

So while I understand that the tri-panel is the best footy jumper in the history of our great sport, I've always liked the crusader or hot cross bun or whatever people call it.

Don't start an argument and then tell people to back off if you don't like the response.

I could care less if you find our guernsey design "boring", or what fans of other clubs (whom you presume to speak for en masse, for some reason) think of it, the red white and black tripanel design is as traditional and important to our club.

I like many of our clash strips and one off designs, some more than others, and I was a big fan of the crusader design, but it should never have been our home colors.

How can you have pride in the jumper if you change the damn thing every 20 minutes?

I must admit I find your response odd, given the fanatical devotion most Port fans seem to have for the prison bar design, which is as traditional and staid as any other design without swoops, gradients and "design elements" slapped onto it.

lol

It just isn't great compared to the glorious clash strips of the last 6 years or the hot cross bun get up.

Don't mistake a snide remark for me deriding a traditional look btw
