except the neck, i like this.
but the neck does put me off it, hopefully it's comfy, i love my North hoodies.
the mazda and north logo look a bit off. too small maybe.
It's the mannequin, the right shoulder is up, meaning the jumper goes up, and therefore the Madza logo looks higher up.

You guys are misunderstanding the intent of Canterbury's apparel. This isn't high-end fashion wear, it's not even close, and it's not supposed to be. It's player/coach athletic wear. With that in mind, and judging it on what it is and on its own merits, it's actually pretty decent; it does what it's supposed to do.

I'm sure they'll bring out more fashionable items (like all manufacturers do) which are intended to be worn with some sort of fashion sense in mind.

I can't. There's actually less chance of reading Mazda BT-50 from a distance than there used to be, because of how tight the constraints of the box are
I was just looking at it again, if the white jumper had the text in black it would be better readability wise. No need for a box at all, especially a black one. That collar is hilarious :')

But there's still a realm for good design.

And you can show a bunch of cool apparel from England and America, but you can also just look at what New Balance made for the Dees this season.

I don't think the new North gear is bad, it's a lot better than BLK's stuff, but just because it's made of certain materials and for different purposes, it can still be appealling in a casual sense. Umbro have been doing it for about eight years.

I have a feeling these are retails that are made to match the PI's. They PI's will most likely have real panels.
Puma did that too, well for the indigenous round guernseys the eagles had made anyway. We still haven't got our normal jumpers on the new template. But the I.R. ones have "real" side panels, different material, with holes in it, stretchy etc, and on the retails it was just different colour to the white guernsey (dark grey) but followed the same shape of the real side panles. Not sure how they will do it, if at all with the retails for the home and away jumpers. It will look weird if its the same material, but with a seem either side of an "invisible" side panel, if you get what I mean:confused::confused: It's hard to explain:D

I think the new North jumper is an improvement on what Blades offered. Obviously it'd be better with a non-cut off stripe, but it's just cleaner overall than Blades. The black box on the back is stupid, though.

The Canterbury logo in the centre of their off field stuff is annoying me. I don't get why they can't match backs and fronts, but it isn't too bad.

But **** me, what's the point of having a hood full of holes? What's that achieving? Oh, look, I'm being marginally less rained on. I'm stopping a percentage of the wind annoying my head.

Really glad that CCC have gotten rid of the clutter that was the club logo and "NMFC'" above the numbers.

Just a shame about the extremely unnecessary black box on the back. I know white boxes for sponsors are aplenty, but it's been a long time since we've seen a black box in the AFL... off the top of my head, in the last decade we've had Jeld-Wen and Centrebet for St Kilda, TAC Drink Drive Bloody Idiot for Richmond..

Can anyone think of any others?
For some reason Port put a black box around the EnergyAustralia logo on the back of the white clash jumper for the second half of the year, after initially having just the logo and text with no box.

Looked miles better without the box.
