Majestic must really be looking to get into the Australian market.
Can say that their first season of BBL kits were both a shit material and fit on both PI and retail, but the second season went much better on both counts.
Thinking it'll probably go a similar way if they are actually coming on board with Brisbane.

IIRC adidas printed the hoops on the side panels in 2009 - hopefully they do the same thing if we get them again
Nope.

No side panels in 2009. Just a back panel that came to a point before the last few hoops.

They still botched the red hoop on the back, and the retails had the Toyota in the wrong spot.

The away had the previous design panels printed on the back for no reason.

Adidas were ok, but I don't get the unwavering love for their on field gear.

I loved their off-field gear, and that is why I want them back. Nothing has really come close to what they offered.
Their on-field stuff wasn't the best with their messy templates, compared to the FILA/Russell Athletic jumpers which were simple and classy. The quality was great however.
I think the Toyota logo was moved on the 2009 replicas to make room for numbers to be added, if need be. Same thing happened with the Collingwood replicas with the Aussie logo.

The adidas quality was great (and I'm a massive adidas fan) but IMO the p*** stuff was even better, simply beautiful. Hell, I hear Fila are making a comeback and would love to see what they could do in terms of off field gear.

could see crows signing with asics on NB. Highly unlikely GWS will land a major brand but one of the could be enticed as the giants are on the verge of being an on-field juggernaut.

I wouldn't mind a return of 2XU to the Gold Coast. They brought in a nice clash kit and had a tidy template.
I guess someone like Canterbury being such a rugby oriented company would fit in with them too, being based in QLD too, with decent market share up there.

Maybe Classic would be willing to expand and pick up an AFL team, using the same logic of strong market share from rugby sponsorships, GC or GWS would be an ideal pick-up.

The numbers on the back of the PI jumpers were huge and shared space with the toyota logo and the jumpers were tiny. The retails were just inattention to detail.

Then there's the bib.

They were also the first to break the hoops.

Off field gear is fine and all that, but since the glory days of the mid 90s, they still don't get the on field right sometimes (Hawks fangs, Essendon tick).

I saw a mid-50s lady cycling along the waterfront in Swansea, Wales a couple of months ago wearing a 1998 adidas Crows warm-up jacket, shield logo and all. The rarity of the kit stunned me, particularly in such a location, and then the actual person wearing it just topped it all off.
Have they stopped you trawling for chicks at the senior centres?

Puma are still selling Crows hats at Adelaide's Harbour Town. Kinda odd since the contract ended over 25 months ago, and the Puma store only opened a couple of months ago.
They are selling 2013 caps.
I've still come across Puma stuff in Adelaide at a few of the Rebel sports stores and local sports stores. Mainly replicas that are never below $80 as well.

That Majestic logo will look great on a footy jumper I reckon.

Not sure if Adidas logo...

Under Armour are a great apparel brand and I think they would suit your mob. You have generally played the field with apparel sponsors and never been afraid to get the best deal. Under Armour going to a small shitty team could potentially ruin their move into the AFL market. A financially strong and generally successful club like Adelaide is a great place to start.
