This is bad.

Clubs struggle enough as it is, can't imagine the rise in financial costs to suburban clubs as the AFL looks to take advantage...
I never feel sorry for suburban clubs in financial trouble if they're paying too much on player payments. I hated it when it started to come in at our club and all these heroes thought they were Carey or Brereton and it started an arms race. But you are right it's not the AFL or any League to say to any club who you must use.

The Perth Amateur league has gone done this path as of last season, the WAAFL now dictates to clubs which manufacturer to use for jumpers and shorts, unfortunately this manufacturer is not as good as who my club used to use in terms of fit and material. Assume this would be a directive of the WAFC so could be case of this happening state wide soon? Who knows?
Who is it?

The shorts Wesley Curtin used to use were ******* woeful, terrible fits.

Blackchrome or some rubbish no name manufacturer like that. I wore my old jumper last year which fits like a glove but our club has a sponsor change so will have one of their jumpers next year. From the look of a few of them last year they look like they fit like potato sacks.

Also the Saints training hat looks very very dodgy. No wonder they went belly up (can't upload a photo, too large and doesn't show up on the mobile website)

Just as a note - I bit on the BLK sales and bought a GWS and Suns guernsey at BLK's discounted prices. Just got an email saying it was shipped. Seems reliable - will update you devotees if/when it arrives
Is it the old collar?
I would assume that would come quite easily as they would have thousands of them ready to go.

If it's the new collar, there would be some doubts, which I think was what St Mark was talking about.

I just realised we haven't seen any mock ups of the new St Kilda clash!
I wonder if we will ever see it or it'll become lost in history.
I wonder if whoever picks us up will keep the same design. Likewise Brisbane, whose new clash might be improved by a new manufacturer by removing the unnecessary bits of white

Unless those unnecessary are AFL mandated because they are not a "Big 4" club and despite the easing on white clash jumpers, they still want some teams to have a percentage of white on the coloured clash.
Yes we have. From page 92.
Thanks Fizz, I forgot about that!
Not a bad clash really, but given they had it spot on with the previous clash it does feel like a real let down.
