So Essendon and Richmond will both wear their home jumpers as the away team against other dark teams for their Anzac matches? Really good planning there, ffs.

Tigers always wear black jumper against DeesSo Essendon and Richmond will both wear their home jumpers as the away team against other dark teams for their Anzac matches? Really good planning there, ffs.
Interesting they're marketing a game with Lynch that he won't play in
Which is ridiculous.Tigers always wear black jumper against Dees
But make sure Geelong wear those white shorts!!!!Tigers always wear black jumper against Dees
But isn't white just part of the kit so it's a real non-issue? For most other teams that have to wear white shorts, it is not part of their standard coloursBut make sure Geelong wear those white shorts!!!!
Of course its not a big issue. But isn't white just part of the kit so it's a real non-issue? For most other teams that have to wear white shorts, it is not part of their standard colours
Ah ok, for some reason I had it in my head that the white shorts is your home kit these daysOf course its not a big issue.
But why couldn't both teams been in home shorts yesterday for example?
Navy shorts is our home uniform, and I agree with us using white against a majority of clubs.
But yesterday I thought both could have been in home with no issue.
Don't know why they can't wear Red Shorts?View attachment 1658102
I know it’s our away game but white shorts is just going to add to the clash.
Back when they were wearing Red shorts most recently, which was 2011, there was a belief at the club that Red shorts were associated with a period of disappointment. 1975 to 1982 were, at that time, probably amongst the worst years in the club's history, certainly in their recent history.Don't know why they can't wear Red Shorts?
So, in other words, superstition.Back when they were wearing Red shorts most recently, which was 2011, there was a belief at the club that Red shorts were associated with a period of disappointment. 1975 to 1982 were, at that time, probably amongst the worst years in the club's history, certainly in their recent history.

That's weird. I've never heard of athletes or supporters being superstitious over meaningless things beforeyeah, pretty much.
Their home kit has a big white stripe that connects to nothing in case you were wondering, both look weirdYeah it looked terrible.
