As Mero says on his podcast about footy jumpers, “the Bulldogs have both the best ever Aussie rules jumpers and the worst.” Best meaning Charlie Sutton era, long sleeve, hoops on the sleeves and two traditional hoops up high across the chest. A thing of beauty. And the worst, that Marvel, Chris Hemsworth Thor abomination a few years ago. And now this travesty or a footy jumper, as bad as the Thor jumper and it’s a higher rotation clash. Just embarrassing. The people at Asics or the Bulldogs have just trashed our guernsey’s recently.

Highly confident the font will NOT be used by the clubs in 2026.
I know a guy who knows a guy, who knows a guy.
AFL font is unchanged for 2026, and is the only font to be used.
These are retail jumpers with iron numbers available to use for promotional purposes.
(Or Photoshopped for the same effect)
Actual jumpers will be with the numbers sublimated into the jumper, in the players size.

It could be they had iron on numbers for their intraclubs etc … but idk, I’m speculating

Perhaps the more rectangular font they've used is easier to adjust in photoshop to look more realistic.

Wow it's looking like the real thing, NB size tag with the blue bit on the end

I'm just baffled with the 1996 Grand Final hat with 'Centenary' erased + coloured ochre

Also judging by the gap between the collar and wing, it looks like the eagle is positioned much lower than the original
