Some people must feel more intelligent by taking the position of a critic all the time. There's almost a pressure to post something negative because you know that's what everyone will be agreeing with!
I think they might launch the new logo before playing Carlton for our FTF match next week, symbolising the new Richmond.

Got to do the intelligence of whoever designed and approved this rubbish and should b scrapped and not launched at all its so weak looking .

Is there any confirmation this actually is a new logo?
It could be for some other aspect of the club.
I like the idea of of symbolising a new Richmond, but I would guess end of the season.

Was liking it till I saw Mcuzzy's and Mowse's posts ext to each other where you can directly compare the old and the new. Makes the new look very female in comparison.

disagree. I think they stand out better.
It's a pretty minor detail though, just me being fussy.
Excellent work.
I already liked it but making the eyes yellow makes it even better.
Perhaps I'm more inclined to the change because I watch a lot of NBA and NFL so I'm used to that style of logo.

I definitely agree that it's it's a good thing it has leaked and hope they're trawling threads to get a gauge of how to improve it.

I guess that's where personal taste comes into it because I think that Dees monstrosity is a busy, overworked pile of crap and exactly why you shouldn't have too many cooks in the kitchen.
Not a huge fan of this Tiger in progress but far prefer it to Melbourne's already.

The new Melbourne logo is terrible. Get rid of the trident (they are the Demons not the Neptunes), footy and text and it would look great, but it is FAR too cluttered

While I expect to grow to like it, and I fully support the notion that a new logo is a good idea for next year, this one leaves me disappointed. Maybe develop a new one based on the 80's one - only more modern.
And while we are at it; next year's new slogan should simply be:
"New Richmond."
