New logo

[Fumbles]

Being a bengals fan I've always thought that the current realistic richmond logo was miles ahead of the dopey cartoon looking bengals logo.

I hold the same kind of attitude here. While this logo still looks a lot better than the bengals one, it's just a step closer to that bland, boring, dopey looking cartoon style.

I'd also find it hard to believe that sponsers are second guessing on getting behind richmond because our logo isn't family friendly or inviting enough to get them sales.

One of my favourite tigers logos is one that the Southern Tigers basketball team use.

Just that whole eye of the tiger look.

But once again would prefer they dont change at all if that is their plans.

Im guessing its just another type of logo for merchandise that perhaps appeals to the kids more.

I don't like our current one much. The new one is good I reckon. The tiger is standing tall and looks as if it means serious business.
I wonder if the white on the tiger's chest could have been made yellow though?
I reckon it's a ripper though.

The retro hoodies have the 80s logo.
Seems like the new logo is trying to make us as a brand more classy instead of the one we have now which is like a roaring tiger ready to have a fight.

The one we have now more represents the supporters and passion of our club but maybe they want one to make us look good as a corporate brand.

More appealing to sponsors.

I don't mind it.

That's what I see in the new logo.

A new optimism.

Cheers smasha!! I guess we do need to think about corporate sponsors etc. Just a fact of life with elite sport these days.

Could be wrong, but I doubt they'd go to the trouble of registering it if they're going to change it. Have to re-register?
