Is it possible to have the sites open in a new tab?
When on the AFL website, clicking Carlton will open up a new tab/window.
That way you don't lose the page you're on.

The problem is that opening in a new window breaks the back button in your browser.

Conventional usability wisdom says let the user decide whether to open a new window through the shift- or ctrl-click option.
