He actually seriously engaged the fans. A handful of tweets that, while not providing any genuine hints, made one thing very clear: throwbacks are not on the menu.

The entire message seemed to be summarized as this: the Rams have a rich history of uniforms, and they're likely taking things in a new direction entirely that still feels part of the same subset of "Rams uniforms."

When you look at each Rams uniform, most iteration looks fairly different from each other. But each has the feel of the Rams. This new one will likely have its own distinctions, uniquely modern, but in the end, it will still have the feel of a Rams uniform.

Rams I like the idea of a navy/gold version to what the current throwbacks are. I think they should try to emulate USC's uniforms. Navy/gold with no white trim on the home uniforms, and then the white away jerseys

The uniforms are gonna be trash. All the fans wanted a traditional look. At most, a modernized version of any throwback look. What we’re getting is some ugly XFL-Arena league looking garbage. The number and letter font are gonna look like a worse version of the titans.
