I care.

BTW, may I borrow your crystal ball? Or do you have some more definite means of foretelling events to come that I may use to see if your prediction is indeed true? I would be honoured if you could share what evidence you have with me.

I was unable to attend matches at the time of Paul's games so I have notes as to his and some other players' progress up to 2001. I do believe he played just over 2 quarters in r18, 2000, just under 1 quarter against Hawthorn in r20, and the third quarter in r21.

Koula may have still been with us if we were allowed to develop players over years instead of turning to the draft, but the draft is a requirement, and 3 games in 4 years, none in the last 3 does not scream for retention.
His delisting was not entirely necessary at that point in time, as the draft participation requirement of 3 spaces was adequately met. He should have at least been given the opportunity to show his quality at AFL level prior to the decision being made. This is my opinion.

sorry for flooding, i just feel that each post deserves it's own reply.

Not wanting to get caught in a Koula debate again, especially now he has left, I thought Berni you were happy and even wanted him to leave Port Adelaide, so he could get more of a go at a lesser club. Am I right? Or is it the fact now West have lost a number of players they will surely slip down the SANFL ladder?

I am happy for him. This fact does not change your attitude towards him which is seemingly groundless.

Though why do you change the subject?

According to the club, yes. According to him, I do not know. I am not he, would you like to ask him these questions? I'm sure he'd be happy to talk to one who has not shown all that much faith in him, whether he be Port or no.

And, for not inciting a Koula debate, you're doing quite well with asking the questions.

No because I dont care.
I did not go by what the club said, or I did not ask Paul. I just went by what was in he paper.

The Geelong board is that way!

Look back I did not bring up Paul Koulouriotis.
No, we were discussing your sudden impartiality towards Paul...

And neither did I.

Maybe you should look at what the club said. The website (which I'm plugging for one of my best friends) is http://PortAdelaideFC.com.au.

I believe we are discussing a matter here which interests me. Do you wish to end this discussion?

... either way you have to admit that Paul is better looking than Shannon.
Yeah.

...and if it makes you feel any better, koula, I think we should have kept Paul. He would have been good in a team in about 2 years time with the 2003 new recruits + salopek type players + josh carr, burgoynes experienced sorta players
