New shorts sponsor for Blues

Carlton has announced K&S Freighters as its new prime and short sponsor for the 2005 season.

K&S Freighters, a specialist road, rail and coastal sea carrier, will feature on Carlton's shorts in all AFL matches and training sessions. They will also be a hospitality room sponsor for Carlton's home games.

Carlton chief executive Michael Malouf said the addition of K&S Freighters as a club sponsor was an important one, as the club strives to build a successful future.



"This is a significant announcement for the Carlton Football Club and is a great way to commence 2005," Malouf said.

I thought Carlton had a 3 year deal with Mediplan for shorts and the signage on the football.
