A 'Richo' can be when a player takes a mark well within goal kicking range, tries to handball to a teammate even closer to goal and bollockses the whole thing up resulting in a rushed behind.

A "Mal" is when a defender rushes a behind in a highly creative manner.

A "Fev" is when a player could have scored a goal from a second effort but was too busy giving the umpire a spray instead. A 'Fev' also applies when a forward sarcastically shows the umpire the ball after taking a mark and then proceeds to kick a behind.

A "Granty" is when a player tries to kick a gimme goal in a highly theatrical fashion and misses.

Feel free to add more. What better way to remember the greats of our game than by naming a stat after them.

A 'Lingy' can be when a player either points to a vacant part of the ground, or when he handballs to a teammate flat footed standing 2m away and allows an opponent to run past him to lay a tackle without trying to block or shepherd in any way.

a "Jarred Brennan" is when the player runs holding the ball with one hand like Michael Jordan and then proceeds to kick it out on the full

A "G-Train' is when a player is having a set shot for goal, does a obvious, slow baulk, runs straight into the man on the mark and gets pinged for holding the ball.

a 'West' is a player who gets 40 possessions or more

A Desi- has a sook.... Pleads dubious "extreme provacation" for everything...

A Benny- plays on regardless of his runny nose....;):p:D

Great thread!
My Contributions...

A "Kane" (Cornes) is an uncontested mark from backline chipping, with 20 marks or more counted as a "Bassett"

A "Triple B" (Big Bad Bustling) Barry Hall is when you try to barge through 2 tacklers, get caught, drop the ball, and the call is "Play On".

The Milney ...

For anything at all that is just too stupid.

A "Big Bad Bazza"

For getting off at the tribunal for an obvious indiscretion.

A 'Swan' is when you king hit an opponent, get offered 6 weeks by the match review panel, but get let off on appeal.

I thought a "Milney" was running into an open goal???

Tripping could be renamed as a 'Dustin'. A free kick for can be a 'Kerr'.
You could 'Selwood' another player, and hopefully you won't be 'Headlanded'.
If you are in trouble at the tribunal, you might be able to 'Hall' yourself out of it. Maybe if you are lucky, the opposing player might 'Chick' himself. If you are really unlucky and get handed a substantial 'Rhys-Jones', you had better be careful not to 'Farmer' it into an even longer one.

Not stats really, but could be.
