Onya Paddy, welcome!

I think it's a good inclusion, as our main weakness has been our inability to bring the ball swiftly out of defence into attack. Hopefully Bryan will take some kickouts and find targets that allow us to run it out of defence. Rather than the stop-start play from our kickouts last week.

Although he probably is a little short for a ruckmen, and we may struggle in that area this week with only Prenda and Bryan against Ball, Jolly and possibly Goodes.

Anyway, good luck to Chris I hope he plays well. We need to find some positives from this awful season to date.

Re: New

Be good if he could do what Fletcher does for Essendon...the ability to kick over a zone is so valuable if you can do it accurately. I imagine they will play him loose man in defence and get him to kick from the backline straight into the 50 meter arc. Hope DeLuca gets a chance to play ruck in the VFL...and gets back in the side...he looked a little lost this year running around in the forward and backline.

Does Bryan do the kicking in every week for the Bullants?? I noticed he did last week when we were kicking with a howling gale. Bit odd for a ruckman to play that role.

Left footer too!!

Welcome Paddy !!!
Bryan's an interesting recruit (mature age at 23 years old) and I haven't seen much of him but I wish him all the best.

Good luck to the boy. To say we could use a 198cm ruckman/forward is an understatement. So good luck to the boy, his got his chance lets hope he grabs it.

Thanks for the welcomes guys,

Im very excited about Chris Bryan. He doesn't need to be a star but rather be aggressive, mobile and able to hit targets. I hear he is all these things so lets hope he gets decent game time.

Also, what do you think/hope for the following players:

- Jordan Russell
- Luke Blackwell
- Adam Hartlett
- Anthony Raso
- Jesse Smith
- Nick Becker
- Daniel Batson
- Sam Pleming

Cheers

Russell-hasnt been the best for the bullants, a solid contributor, he should make his debut later in the year. runs very well and backks himself.

Blackwell-has improved and matured quite a lot this year. finds the ball regularly and uses it quite well. has a footy brain. needs to still bulk up a helluva lot. another who should make his debut later in the year.

Hartlett-said to have been a very good pick at number 25. is big strong and agressive, has great hands. huge kick and pretty accurate as well. has been injured which has hindered his progress this year. can play both back and forward. yet another who i think should debut this year.

Raso-havent heard too much...playing school footy all year. could turn into a kp forward. is still very light and raw so needs to bulk up. is focusing on vce this yr so am not expecting nething. exciting prospect, said to have been thought of as a top 20 pick for next year.

smith-rookie who i think will turn out to be a very good player on the wing or on the ball-doesnt have the best pace but good disposal and brain

becker- i really like this kid...hff/wing good courage skill and pace!

batson-ruck prospect-hasnt done much but is a prospect needs time

pleming-2nd yr rookie- kpp with loads of courage. not much else
