Hmmm... you liked the Sony 86cm W/Screen which is $5000, but ended up getting a $800 Teac?

A bit of a stretch. Is that the case? When I clicked that link the first TV to come up was the KV-HR36M31.

They must be on drugs mate... if they're charging $950+ for it then they will be hard pressed to sell it.

Most places are doing those ones for $850 plus a free DVD player by redemption!!!

What store did you go to?

Any one of them would have been good... all do better prices if you want a cash and carry deal. Bring in the folding stuff and they drop the price a bit.

I did say cash,you know not card etc and that was the price.I did a bit of casual work years ago at a retravision, and a lot of peoplethought cash was a card.Soh.....

I take it you don't work at Retravision anymore... where was this at?

I was a former Good Guy. But my beliefs in customer service came into conflict with the store policy of "fleece whoever you can... don't care how you do it."

I was there for almost two years.

It was Pine Rivers in Qld, I was a part time Bookeeper.The guys doesn't own it anymore.The office was in the middle of the store, so the other girl and I had to serve if they were busy.I left as the guy was one of the only Retravisions in Australia that didn't have the inhouse accounts andother programs.I had to set up a system with his accountant specific to his weird needs.Which didn't interact in anyway with the retravision returns and crit and ordering system.hard for the staff.He also felt the need to run the ship with an iron will, and had massive staff turnovers.Strange how people don't like being yelled at store long for nothing.I was in a brown ladies suit one day, he told me in front of customers that I should wear a better colour than brown and was rude to boot.The customers were shocked, I was used to him.I left soon afterwards.
Not a pleasant experience.But I did learn a bit about appliences.
So when we remodeled the kitchen recently, I got the exact appliances I wanted.
Sorry about the Good Guys, I have heard they are gers. The local one here when I went in, the guys new nothing about TV's,and couldn't care less. they were pushing the advertised sales ones only.A lot of help guys.
