Well it's the end of a decade. What is everyone doing tonight?

Beach, house party, town, TV, work, sleep?

I'm going to a mate's house party for a few 'quiet' drinks.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL. HAVE FUN AND STAY SAFE.

Yes HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL even to our little brothers on the dark side :D

Home as usual i have not been asked out on NYE for 10 years i am lucky enough to have a hole in my backyard with 60000 litres of water

In Chicago now, heading tomorrow to Las Vegas for New Years. Should be interesting.

The Stag on Randall Street or the Alma Tavern but will more than likely head down the Bay. But at this stage, I’m seriously contemplating staying at home as it’s too ****ing hot.

Yep, i go down to Glenelg every year, down to St Vinnies pub, or whatever they call it nowadays.

Have a mate who lives down next to the Stamford, ring me saying the Bottle Shops are closing at 6pm tonight.

Easiest thing i find is to pay the $10 buck door charge and get the wrist tag before 9pm, so you can get back in once the rioting starts. It usually closes around 2.30am.

Won't bother getting the tram down there, live near the Goodie pub, so they will be chokkers by the time they reach Wayville.

Other than it being a dry zone and full of teens ....oh yeah, that’s good enough right their but other than that, why not the bay.
Haha exactly.;) I would just like tonight not to have to look over my head every 5 seconds to see if a bottle has been thrown in my direction.

Will The Grand be open tonight?

I used to go down the Bay every New Years when I was younger and I guess "an annoying teenager", but now those annoying teenagers piss me off trying to act all cool and shiz, so I usually go to a house party. But this year, I cannot be ****ed doing anything. 2009 has been the worst year ever, so I'll probably just sleep through it and wake up, ready for 2010 to kick start.

I can't believe it's been 10 years since the Y2K crap...I remember getting to my grandparents house at Glenelg and they had eskies full of food ready for it... and other countries were calling Sydney to ask if anything happened..stupid people! The people who believed that, are the people who probably believe that the world will end in 2012

Yeah, but it's a dress up thing, and the queue is 200 metres long, back towards the beach.

I just learned from experience, even though St Vinnies is a dive, you don't have to make the effort fashion wise, and you always see a huge crowd out the front after midnight that can't get in.

Yeah, good call. Will more than likely just hit the Alma or something like that in the city for a few hours and then move on and stay about for the crap. Will end up like a normal Friday or Saturday night, Casino and then the Crazy horse.

**** that then. Stay in the city.

Do what any normal people do, drink your problems away. The bottom of the bottle is always the answer. :D

Drink to forget, not to get happy.:thumbsu:

I think not being in Adelaide is gonna save me a fair bit of dough!:thumbsu: The Casino would be the end of me.:D Time to **** up Victor!

Well I ended up in the city last night and had a great view of the fireworks.

Major props have to go to the Lord Mayor of Adelaide Michael Harbison for spending $78,000 on the fireworks. They were unbelievable, sen – ****ing - sational to say the least, this time Adelaide did it right. Brilliant effort, 10 out of 10.

I was sober as a judge as I was the designated driver and not feeling that well from the heat, but the fireworks left me speechless. no one can bag Adelaide after that effort. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Was it hot in town?? It was cool at the bay. Cool to the point people were starting to get pissed off and rugging up.
