The only time I can stand heat is if I'm on a holiday near the beach otherwise it is absolutely disgusting and so is anyone who enjoys it.

My house is so bright when it gets to summer, the walls light up and reflect off each other it is a mad house at times.

But i love this weather

The only downside to this sort of weather are the sleepness nights. But its a good excuse to sleep nude :D :thumbsu:

As i said mate, i sleep like a baby. The electric blanket, doona and quilt keep me warm when the fujitsu system turns the house into a chiller.

Love the heat... hot days = shorts, thongs, singlets and the ladies wearing next to zilch. So much more comfortable wearing the bare essentials then whacking on layers of jumpers/jackets etc. Heat also = warm nights (generally) which equates to ideal beer drinking sessions in the beer gardens of our many great establishments. One of summers many great pleasures. And lastly, hot days provides for the ideal beach/sunbaking & cricket/a-league viewing weather. I see zero negatives to hot weather (apart from the temperature of my steering wheel when I jump in my car thats parked outside :thumbsd: ). Conversely, winter can die. Who wants to go outside when its wet, windy & 12 degrees? Absolutely horrible.

Winter >>>>> Summer, only good thing about Summer are the holidays (if you're still at school), at least when it's cold you can put layers of clothes on and keep warm, when its hot and you're outside there really isn't much you can do to keep cool, if you wear very few clothing you just get burnt like a mother****er.

sunscreen and beach/cool shower etc.

Not a fan of serious heat at all. Thankfully we bought a house that doesnt heat up all that much, no matter how hot it is.

Its going to be a hot one today and tomorrow. Melbourne temperature at 12:04pm from BOM was 35.5 degrees. January and February are the 2 hottest months of the year. Even March can have hot days. Luckily we have a good air con at home. I remember a while back sleeping downstairs in my house with the fans on when we didn't have the air con. Everyone should stay well hydrated and avoid going outdoors if possible. Adelaide cops it really bad and is always a bit more hotter than Melbourne

If I have to choose between the extremes it would be a cold day. The hot weather for some people they like it but for me it's unbearable added with a hot Northerly wind. It's always great when that cool change comes through with those Southerly winds.

Definitely. Much easier to get warmer than what it is to get cool!
