My News Years Resolution is to look after my health better and keep looking after CJH

and think before I jump too quick in any situation!

My resolution is to not yell so much at the footy.

Sacrilege, you say?

Well, it's like this ... I've got a regular acting gig from February to November and I'm going to have to save my voice to do shows.

Last season I found that I would usually lose my voice for 2 days after every match. I won't be able to afford that this season. My livelihood is going to depend on having my voice in good working order.

So ... no more leading the chanting in N-11 ... dammit

Not quite, Jubbie ... but I did get a day's work as an extra on Stingers the other day. I'm sorry to ruin your image of me ... but I was a detective, not a crim.

I didn't get any lines ... but I got to shuffle bits of paper, get into a lift, and chat up the odd female constable in the background.

No, JubJub. The gig I'm saving my voice for is a job touring schools with a Theatre-in-Education group.

His name in The Bill is Tom 'Vic 'Barker.The Vic is because his real name is Victor.

Trev is just a name on a Bill website because no one knew his name in the show.

No. I didn't meet Churchy. But I did get to meet Mac (sort of). My debut scene involved me getting into a lift as she was getting out of it ...

What a buzz ... my 1.7 seconds of fame. (Only another 14 minutes and 58.3 seconds to go and I will have had my share)

I'm not sure how long my "role" is going to last. I've got another day's work on the 8th of January ... so watch out "Vic" ... or "Trev" ... or whatever your name is. I've got the record in my sights!!!

Thanks Ripper, I really need all the support I can get. I did quit twice this year, but then our dog of 13 years died in July, I picked up a pack and that was it.

I really wanna do it though.
